A possible Ghana-England friendly in Accra looks unlikely due to the huge financial demands by the Football Association, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The 2010 Fifa World Cup quarter-finalists earned a draw at Wembley in a hugely successful and well patronized match prompting reports of a possible rematch in Ghana.
The Three Lions have never played in West Africa and would love to make a historic appearance in the sub-region.
But representative of match organizers Mel Goldberg Law, Mel Goldberg admitted huge financial demands by England might be a major stumbling block in fulfillment of this rematch.
We are working very hard to bring possibly and its difficult England to Ghana for a return match which is expensive because England will ask for a lot of money but well see what we can do in terms of sponsorship, he exclusively told GHANAsoccernet.com.
