All is now clear for Norwegian-born Ghanaian goalkeeper Adam Larsen Kwarasey to feature for the Black Stars after months of nationality switch complications.
And according to GFA president Kwasi Nyantakyi, the 23-year-old goalkeeper would feature in the Ghana-Nigeria international friendly scheduled for August 9 in London.
We have completed his documentation and everything points to the fact that he will feature for the Black Stars against Nigeria, he said after the 36th SWAG Awards ceremony. The young goalkeeper had to wait for a while to get FIFAs green-light to make him eligible to play for Ghana, having featured for Norway in one friendly match.
A few days ago, FIFA informed the young goalkeeper through the GFA that he is eligible to feature for the Star, since he has not played any official international A match for Norway. The goalkeeper has since expressed joy about the news and is tipped to be a perfect replacement should Richard Kingson hang his gloves.
