Ghana Olympic head coach Akwasi Appiah claims he will not consider himself a failure if the team is unable to qualify for the 2011 All Africa Games.
Black Meteors faces a must win game on Sunday at the Baba Yara stadium after going down 3-1 in the first leg.
The ex-Ghana international is reeling under pressure to end the series of disappointments that have hit national teams in continental qualifiers.
Compatriots Frimpong Manso, David Duncan, Herbert Addo and Anthony Edusei have all failed this year.
But the ex-Ghana international does not expect to be ostracized if he fails in his bid to qualify for the team.
I dont think it will be a failure on my part if were unable to qualify. In football you can either, win or lose and we take it as it comes. When you win as a coach, you are praised and when you lose, you take responsibility for it, Appiah said.
I am delighted with the determination of the players in camp and the fact that those who joined their clubs are making effort to join us to win the game.
He added: Were focused and will do our best.
