Football associations of Ghana and Uruguay have reached an agreement to play an international football friendly match the 5th or 6th of August 2011.
According to www.iamaghanaian.com, the two associations have agreed to honour the match. What is left according to a very close and reliable source to the Uruguay FA is the amount they will take from the organizers and also the venue for the match.
The source also reveals that the organizers of the historic match is Mel Goldberg Law, a UK based Fifa agent who organized the match between the Black Stars and the Three Lions of England in March this year.
Even though the venue of the match is yet to be decide, it is believed that it shall be played at Dusseldorf or Cologne in Germany.
Ghana is currently lying 36th in the current Fifa rankings and 3rd in Africa behind Cote d�Ivoire and Egypt, whilst Uruguay is 5th in the world rankings and 2nd in CONMEBOL behind Brazil.

Ghana will be seeking to avenge the defeat they suffered at the hands of Uruguay in the one fourth stage of the Fifa World Cup in South Africa last year.
