Ghana will set-up a camping base in South Africa ahead of the 2014 World Cup qualifier against African Champions Zambia on June 9.
The Ghana Federation has firmed up plans to use the facility as the race for Brazil 2014 World Cup hottens up.
The Black Stars lost 1-0 against the Chipolopolo in the semi-finals of the 2012 joint African Cup of Nations enroute to beat Ivory Coast lift their first ever African silverware.
That has raised the stakes ahead of the meeting between the two sides at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola with newly appointed Ghana boss Kwesi Appiah eager to for victory to boost his confidence.
The Black Stars will however begin preparations for the first game Lesotho on June 3 with a non-residential camping on May 21 before they move into an intensive residential camping a week later.
Meanwhile Zambias home-based players will go into camp on May 15 but they travel to Johannesburg five days later for the final phase of training where all the foreign-based players will team-up with Herve Renards team.
