Manchester United have expressed interest in signing Kevin-Prince Boateng, according to reports in Italy.
Manager Alex Ferguson wants to turn to the AC Milan ace who has impressed in Serie A since leaving Tottenham two years ago.
Milan officials are deciding whether to offer Boateng a new deal or cash in to fund a bid for Santos�s promising Brazil playmaker Paulo Henrique Ganso.
Boateng despite battling injuries this term scored nine goals in 27 appearances.
Concerns about his physical fragility, which restricted him to just half of Milan�s games is a problem but he is relatively lowly paid.
The 25-year-old pockets ďż˝ 30,000-a-week after tax and would hope to land double if he extends his contract by one year to 2016.
