Anthony Annan is expected to train with the Black Stars for the first time on Saturday after sitting out of two sessions.
The Vitesse Arnhem midfielder has been granted a short leave by the technical team to attend to family matters.
Annan watched from the bench in Thursday's test match against Prampram United but was away on Friday morning.
Ghana are preparing towards their opening Group D match against Lesotho on June 1 in the qualifying for the 2014 World Cup.
