Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu was in action for Udinese in their 1-0 defeat to Atalanta in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
The Ghana international played the entire duration of the game but was unable to help his side retain their unbeaten record this summer under coach Francesco Guidolin.
Simone Tiribocchi’s awkward header five minutes from time snatched the win at the depth for Atalanta in the game played at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia in Gallarate.
The game was also played in memory of Piermario Morosini the on loan Udinese player at Livorno who suffered a fatal cardiac arrest on the field of play on April 14.
Udinese will next play Turkish side Antalyaspor in the next episode of their pre-season matches on Wednesday.
They will also play Schalke and Southampton before their Serie-A opener with Fiorentina on August 25.
