The Ghana Football Association together with the Ministry of Sports have called on football fans to give the bronze-winning Black Maidens a big welcome as the women's U-17 arrive in the country Monday evening.
Ghana's Black Maidens beat Germany 1-0 to finish third at FIFA U-17 Womens World Cup Azerbaijan 2012 last Saturday.
The team will touch down at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra at 19:30 GMT (7:30pm) and fans have been called on to be at the airport and be part of the welcoming party.
Winning bronze is Ghana's best-ever finish at a FIFA womens competition and the furthest by any African side at the FIFA U-17 Womens World Cup.
