Ghana striker Matthew Amoah may leave Dutch Eredivise side Heerenveen in January, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The 32-year-old has not featured for the club in the top-flight since joining the club on a one-year deal last summer.
But the former NAC Breda goal poacher made his debut in the Dutch Cup.
Heerenveen are willing to sell Amoah in order to give young striker Mark Uth more playing time.
“Matthew is an experienced attacker but we want to give the youthful players time to develop,” Heerenveen technical director Johan Hansma said.
Amoah signed for Marco Van Basten’s side after failing to impress at Turkish side Mersin.
