Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold have announced they will award two of their players who played at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
Goalkeeper Fatau Dauda was Ghana�s first choice goalkeeper at the tournament who earned rave reviews for his exploits between the sticks.
The 27-year-old was adjudged Man-of-the-Match in Ghana�s quarterfinal victory against Cape Verde.
His 81st minute world-class save against the Blue Sharks is rated as the best save of the tournament.
Defender Traore played one match for silver-medalists Burkina Faso and that was against Burkina Faso in the semi-finals when he came on as substitute.
He scored one of the penalties for the Stallions in the 3-1 win over the Black Stars.
�Fatau and Henri Traore have done a lot of good for the club and we will honour them deservedly,� AshantiGold Chief Executive Kudjoe Fianoo a local radio station.
