2012/2013 Glo premier league leading top scorer Mahatma ‘Osman’ Otoo has played down comparisons fans are making between him and Hearts of Oak legend Ishmeal Addo, since wearing the number 18 jersey.
“I am doing everything myself and it is not the number 18 that is doing anything”.
Otoo stated the session in number 54 and fans complained then that his off-targets shots were too much.
However, in the course of the session, the Black Stars striker changed his jersey number and that seems to have brought back his scoring from.
He now tops the top scorers’ chart. “The coach has helped me a lot,” he said. But Ishmeal Addo will still be Ishmael Addo and Mahatma is Mahatma.
