Heart of Lions owner Victor Ahiakpor says Egypt should set aside any thoughts of qualifying to the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, predicting victory for the Black Stars over the two- legged playoffs.

The Black Stars will host the seven-time African champions in the first leg at the Baba Yara stadium on Tuesday October 15 before the return fixture takes place on November 19 in Cairo.

The Egyptians stands in the way of the Black Stars to make a third successive appearance at the World showpiece with the two- legged ties expected to determine which country makes it to the South African nation next year.

The Pharaohs are hoping to qualify to the tournament at the expense of the four-time African champions to bring feuding factions in the current social and political unrest in the North African country together.

But Heart of Lions president Victor Ahiakpor has urged the Egyptians to forget about earning the sole ticket to the World Cup.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the team (Black Stars). Nobody can stop us from going to Brazil, mark my words, Ahiakpor told Happy FM

Egypt should forget about Brazil 2014. Its unfortunate that they are meeting us. We are not going to watch the tournament in Brazil on television. Well be deeply involved.

I dont know why some people are skeptical about our chances. Were beating them home and away.

The days of playing tricks to outwit opponent are over for the Egyptians. Were now in modern times.

Let us face it. We have a quality team as compared to theirs. We have absolute trust in the players, the coach and Ghanaians to see us through.

We are a very religious nation and I believe the Egyptians you see them today, you will see them no more, he sounded biblical.

The Black Stars will take on lower division side Asokwa Deportivo in a friendly on Friday as coach Kwesi Appiah sharpens his arsenals ahead of the must win game on Tuesday.

The winner of the aggregrate score will qualify to the World Cup in Brazil 2014.
