Ghana forward Kevin-Prince Boateng has been voted Schalke’s Player of the Month haven impressed since joining the club in the summer.
The 26-year-old arrived in Gelsenkirchen in August haven agreed to a move from AC Milan.
Boateng has since hit the ground running by scoring vital goals to help the Royal Blues on all fronts. The club’s fans have now decided to vote the Ghanaian their Player of the Month for the month of October.
The ex Portsmouth man polled an impressive 46% to beat his teammate Max Meyer to the award. He was presented with a customized watch by one of the ardent fans of the Royal Blues.
The Ghanaian said after receiving the award: “It is an honor to have been selected by the fans.” Boateng has helped Schalke climb in the Bundesliga to 7th and are second behind Chelsea in the Champions League despite being level on points with the English giants.
