Sources close to the Rainbow Club have confirmed that Phobian officials have been in talks with the shot-stopper since last term and could make a return in the 2013-14 season.
Sources say both parties are fine tuning a deal that has been agreed in principle.
Adjei played an integral part in Hearts of Oak�s success in the year 2000 helping the club to win the Africa Champions League, the Premier League, Caf Super Cup and the FA Cup.
