Asante Kotoko has earned a walkover in their first round of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Champions League following the withdrawal of their opponents, East End Lion of Sierra Leone.
East End Lions have officially pulled out of the competition, citing lack of footballing activities.
Kotoko were drawn with the Lions at the preliminary round of the competition which has the former as the sole Ghanaian representative.
Kotoko was to begin their campaign with an away fixture on the weekend on February 13-15, before hosting the return leg a fortnight on at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Kotoko, Ghanas sole representative in the Champions League is seeking to improve upon their abysmal showing in the last edition of the competition.
