Ex-Ghanaian International Samuel Osei Kuffour is under investigation after allegedly assaulting a shop owner at East Legon.
The former Black Stars player is said to have attacked the woman [Madam Agnes Opoku] and her staffs at the De Joy Enterprise in East Legon with a bunch of thugs claiming possession of the land where the shop has been built.
Ghanasportsonline.com understands that the former Bayern Munich Star claims he has paid a sum of $30,000 to the landlord to acquire ownership of the land, a landlord who has disappeared after their negotiation.
Kuffour is reported to have injured a worker at the shop and threatened to vandalize the place should the shop owner fail to oblige his instruction and vacate the place.
Madam Agnes Opoku has since lodged a complaint at the Legon Police station charging the ex-footballer for assault.
The case which is currently under investigation by the Police could see the former Ghana defender in trouble should he be found guilty of the charge.
Sammy Kuffour has refused to grant any interview with the media since his ghastly action on the shop owner.
