The Ghana Football Association has asked Black Stars midfielder Afriyie Acquah to caution his wife Amanda Acquah over recent defiant comments made about her ex-husband Kennedy Agyapong and some Black Stars players.
Amandas voice was captured in a recently released audio lambasting her ex-husband over an anonymous issue which she also made mention of some Black Stars players and some respected personalities in Ghana having an affair with Mona, wife of Kennedy Agyapong.
Although it is unclear as to what led to the attack on the CEO of Kenpong Group of Companies, reports from the Black Stars camp in Spain indicates that players and officials of the team are raged over the comments by Afriyie Acquahs wife especially after mentioning names of some players of the team in the leaked audio.
Ghanasportsonline.com sources at the teams camp have revealed that the FA has asked the 22-year-old to warn his wife over her uncouth comments which has hit the airwaves.
Reports say, Amandas comments has caused disarray between some Black Stars players and Afriyie Acquah hence distracting the team ahead of their AFCON campaign in Equatorial Guinea.
Ghanasportsonline.com also understands that the FA is asking for an apology from Acquahs wife for mentioning the names of some Black Stars players in her comment.
