Coach David Duncan says he will only finalize talks with Asante Kotoko should the coaching position becomes vacant.
According to the former Hearts of Oak trainer, the position is still occupied after the Club asked Didi Dramani to proceed on leave.
The renowned Ghanaian tactician would only have further talks with the Porcupine Warriors should they confirm the position as vacant.
“Their coach is on leave, that means the position is still not vacant,” Duncan told Happy Fm.
“So if the position becomes vacant, we can start talking and then we see whether we can agree on terms”.
Duncan is currently unattached and has been tipped as favorite to take up the top job at Asante Kotoko after a successful stint with Premier League side’s Ashanti Gold, Sekondi Hasaacas, Accra Hearts of Oak and Gt. Olympics
