Kwesi Nyantakyi is predicting a Ghana-Nigeria final at the just started African Youth Championships in Senegal.
The Black Satellites open their campaign against South Africa on Monday while Nigeria humbled the tournament hosts 3-1 in their opening group game.
Ghana hopes to recapture the form that made them U20 WAFU, African and World champions in 2009 this term.
And GFA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi believes the Black Satellites and their Nigerian counterparts are the two strongest teams in this year’s event.
“I am predicting a Ghana-Nigeria final,” he told Happy FM.
“I know Nigeria have a very good team and will be a strong contender.
“South Africa has also made huge investments in youth development and will be very tough but then I am predicting a Ghana-Nigeria final.”
Ghana will play Zambia and Mali in their subsequent group games at this year’s AYC.
