Supporters of Asante Kotoko have called on management to move the team’s home games from the Babayara Sports Stadium to the Abrankese Park as a result of the team’s recent poor performance at the arena.
The Porcupine Warriors suffered a Champions League second round exit after losing 2-1 to Algeria’s MC Eulma on Sunday.
The ardent followers of the Club have however petitioned the Board Chairman of the club, Mr. Adu-Gyamfi to change the team’s venue to the Abrankese Park which was formally used by Kessben FC.
The supporters have ascribed the team’s dwindling fortunes in Africa at the Babayara Sports Stadium to superstition which they believe must be hallowed before returning to the arena.
