Accra Hearts of Oak Managing Director Gerald Ankrah has expressed worry about the delay in the commencement of the League.
The Ghana Football Association has set December 20 as a tentative date for the start of the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League.
Hearts of Oak has already begun their preseason exercise to prepare ahead of the League next month.
Gerald Ankrah believes the late start of the League is affecting his outfit’s budget for the new season.
“We have players that we are paying. It’s not a comfortable situation at all not to know when the league is starting,” he told Joy FM.
“ It is our hope that pretty shortly the GFA will come out with a tentative date for the start of the league so we can plan our pre-season preparations.”
The Rainbow Club had a shambolic campaign last season after finishing 13th on the log.
