Accra Hearts of Oak assistant coach Yaw Preko was left out of the team’s 26 man contingent that travelled to Libya for a preseason friendly against Ittihad Tripoli.
Report indicate that the former National star was excluded from the team after the Libyan’s requested for only 26 contingent instead of Heart’s initially plan to fly a 28-man contingent.
The assistant coach had to be sacrificed after the head coach had named 20 players for the trip.
The technical team however includes goalkeepers trainer Nassamu Yakubu who could act as an assistant coach, team manager Sabahn Quaye and Physio Baffour Otchere.
Spokesperson Opare Addo and Managing Director Gerald Ankrah were the two officials that joined the team for the trip.
The Phobians will take on the North African side within the week before returning to the country.
