Striker Ahmed Toure has parted ways with Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko, according to reports in the media.
Toure per reports gathered was not included in the list of players registered by the Porcupine Warriors for the upcoming season.
The 28-year-old had been out of Kotoko’s preseason exercise after returning from Lebanon where he failed to land a deal with Nejmeh FC.
The striker who scored 11 goals in the Ghana Premier League last season will not be part of the Kotoko team for next season’s campaign.
“Ahmed Toure’s contract at Kotoko has been terminated, he has displayed gross subordination and non-commitment towards the club”, Deputy Operations Manager Ali Maradona is quoted by GazzettaGhana.com
“His contract has been terminated and due to that we didn’t register him for the coming season so officially, he is not part of us.”
The player who made a return to Kotoko last season has already been linked with a move to Europe.
