The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has praised Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger. In an interview on Kasapa FM on the occasion of his 72nd birthday, Nana Addo credited Wenger with making Arsenal the great club that it is now.
He said without Wenger’s expertise and guidance, Arsenal would not be the globally competitive club that it is now.
Nana Addo is a staunch Tottenham fan, but his third daughter, Gyankroma Akufo-Addo, is an Arsenal fan.
Gyankroma told Kasapa FM in the interview that she and dad often argue over which of Arsenal and Tottenham was the better club.
Describing Nana Addo as a jovial father, Gyankroma said: “We are always having a lot of great jokes together.
“He’s my mentor, my teacher, my hero,” she added.
