Medeama president Moses Armah has been angered over Kotoko's ongoing attempts to try and lure coach Tom Strand away from his club and has threatened to report the side to the Ghana FA and FIFA for illegally approaching the tactician.

The two-time FA Champions are determined to hold onto the Swedish trainer until the expiration of his contract which runs out later in the year.

The Tarkwa-based side are incensed with Kotoko's clandestine move to lure the 33-year-old away from the club without recourse to his current employers.

In an exclusive expose, GHANAsoccernet.com revealed how top officials of the Porcupine Warriors have held 'secret talks' with the European tactician over a possible move.

Kotoko's  continuous denial appears to  have smashed-up after Tom Strand claimed to have resigned from the club on Tuesday amid the merry-go-round puzzle.

Medeama president Moses Armah has threatened Kotoko with an official complaint over the illegal approach for his coach.

"If they (Kotoko) want to sign him, all they have to do is to come and discuss because he has a contract with us," he told GHANAsoccernet.com

"I hope to do something about it because it's unfair and unsettling.

"They should stop the negative influence and come forward if they want him.

"It shows lack of respect. It doesn't matter who you are; you must respect the rules.

"The era where players and coaches were tapped illegally are over. What is the move intended to achieve?

"Such tricks won't work in this modern era. If they want him or any team for that matter, they should come and buy him out of contract.

He fumed: "We are not going to let this lie down. The right thing will be done."

The 33-year-old appears to have reached his elastic limit after the side failed to defend their FA Cup crown-losing on penalties to Liberty Professionals at home on Sunday.

The Swedish tactician has been given a free room operate at the club but has shockingly failed to repay the confidence reposed in him by the club's top hierarchy.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands that the European tactician has failed to yield to several advise - leading to the side's painful exit from the Cup competition.

It is widely believed that coach Strand will not renew his contract which expires at the end of the current campaign.

Medeama also have up their sleeves plan B should the coach decide to move on at the end of the current campaign.

Strand caused a massive embarrassment to the club when he refused to return to the dugout after his side's 2-2 stalemate at Kotoko- claiming some officials were interfering with his work.

The club's technical chief Augustine Evans Adotey stopped him from substituting Kwame Boahene and Malik Akowuah during the 2-2 drawn game against Kotoko in Kumasi.
