Ghana winger Christian Atsu is likely to earn a three-year contract from English Club Newcastle United, according to reports in the UK.
The 24-year-old has officially agreed a deal with the Premier League returnees after receiving the go ahead of his parent Club Chelsea.
Chelsea are said to have agreed to release the player who is currently on loan at the Megbies.
Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez had already expressed his desire to sign the player on a permanent deal after a fruitful season in the Championship.
Atsu scored four times to ensure Newcastle United earn promotion back to the English Premier League after winning the Championship.
