Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi has once again earned an appointment from the Confederations of African Football (CAF).
The football administrator who is currently first vice President for CAF has been named as the President for the 2018 FIFA World Cup committee for Africa.
His latest appointment increases his duties as a football administrator.
Nyantakyi earned the top award despite Ghana’s failure to make it to the World Cup.
The FIFA council member has a task of ensuring the preparation of the five African representatives (Senegal, Nigeria, Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt at next year’s FIFA World Cup.
He will be working with some of Africa’s finest administrators on the committee for the FIFA World Cup.
His latest appointment fuels his decision to bow out after his tenure in office comes to an end in 2019.
The WA All Stars owner has earned global recognition since taking over as Ghana Football Association President in 2005.
