Steve Polack is brimming with rage over Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s defeat to rivals, Hearts, in the ongoing G8 Tournament.
Hearts of Oak, against all odds, managed to kick Kotoko out of the tournament at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Wednesday.
The defeat was a bitter pill to swallow for the red army fans, considering the fact that Kotoko was in top shape ahead of the game.
Also, Kotoko emerged as 3-1 winners the last time that they clashed with Hearts, which was the FA Cup final in Tamale.
Coach Polack, after Wednesday’s contest, said he was sad that Kotoko were beaten by Hearts in the presence of their own fans.
He admitted that Kotoko did not play well in the first half but said his charges improved in their output after the break.
Coach Polack said Kotoko had decent chances to carry the day during the second half but they failed to utilize them.
He, however, said there is no need to cry over spilt milk, adding that Kotoko would pick up the pieces and bounce back stronger.
