West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) played out a 0-0 draw game against visiting Asante Kotoko on Match Day 8 of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League (GPL) at the Red Bull Arena In Sogakope.
Asante Kotoko's goal in the 31st minute was disallowed when Richard Arthur handled the ball with his hand before dropping it at the back of the net.
The academy boys created numerous chances but could not make it count as they ended the first half in a stalemate.
WAFA was resilient in the second half and took total control of the game but the defencemen of Kotoko, marshaled by Christopher Nettey were determined to fight through as they denied WAFA several scoring opportunities.
WAFA has again failed to make their home advantage count as Maxwell Konadu's side shared the points with them.
