The embattled former President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kwesi Nyantakyi has been slapped with fraud and corruption following the Anas Aremeyaw Anas Number 12 exposé.
He has been granted bail in the sum of GHC1 million.
Former Northern Regional Representative of the GFA, Abdulai Alhassan has also been hit with same charges.
Victoria Asiedu who is the Principal State Attorney on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, told an Accra High Court that the two individuals implemented a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a ghost company to secure sponsorship for the Ghana Premier League in 2017.
Both are required to report every Friday at the police CID.
If you may recall, the number 12 expose led to the resignation of the former FA Boss and his lifetime ban by FIFA.
