At the National Democratic Congress (NDC) primary held in the Bolgatanga East constituency, one of the newly created constituencies in the Upper East Region, a 46-year-old law lecturer at the University of Ghana, Mr Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, was elected as the party's Parliamentary candidate for the December elections.
