Following the appointment of President John Dramani Mahama as the chairman of the Economic Community Of West African State (ECOWAS) on its 44th Summit in Ivory Coast at Yamoussoukro, a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has described his (Mahama�s) appointment as disaster for both Ghana and the sub-region.
