Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, the National Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has expressed optimism that the key developmental projects initiated by the government in the Eastern Region, are likely to earn the NDC more than 50% of the popular votes  in the 2016 elections.
