The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Nii Osah Mills,, his Deputy, Kwabena Akandor, and officials from the Minerals Commissions have visited the Obuasi Municipality to cool tempers between Anglogold Ashanti and Small scale mining (galamsey) operators in the Obuasi municipality.
