Dr. George Sipa-Adjah Yankey, who has resigned in the wake of the Mabey and Johnson bribery scandal, said on Saturday that he was innocent of the allegations, but had to resign to end attacks on President John Evans Atta Mills and his government and allow them room to concentrate on their work.
