Dr George Cleland, a US-trained Ghanaian medical practitioner, based in Athens, Georgia, has been presented with the Elbertonian Award by the National Association of Advancement of Coloured People (NAACP), Elbert County branch, a national umbrella association for African Americans in the USA.
