Less than 24 hours after his arrest, a Bolgatanga Circuit Court presided over by Judge William Boampong, has sentence a 27-year-old staff of the National Youth Employment Programme (NYEP) and a National Democratic Congress (NDC) activist, Yakubu Mohammed Sadat, to 30 years in prison in hard labour, for possessing firearm without lawful authority in the Bawku Municipality.
