On Monday, 21st November 2022 the Chairperson, Governing Board of Minerals Commission of Ghana, Barbara Oteng-Gyasi led a high powered delegation from the Minerals Commission of Ghana to Prestea in the Prestea Huni-Valley Municipality of Western Region to engage the people on Small Scale Mining with emphasis on Community Mining and other related activities.
