Newmont Africa has announced that, in the first quarter of 2023, its Ghana operations (Ahafo South and Akyem mines) paid a total of GHS 843.72 million in taxes, royalties, and levies to the Government of Ghana, through the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), Forestry Commission, and Ministry of Finance.
