In recent times, two Ghanaian ladies embarked on endurance projects to get themselves into the Guinness World Records books. Both had the suffix “…..athon” to the name of their objective. So, in what she called “sing-athon,” journalist Afua Asantewa Aduonum in Accra set herself the task of breaking the world record for the longest singing duration. Starting on 24 Dec 23, she ended on 29 Dec 23 after singing for 126 hours and 52 minutes.
