Dr. Myles Munroe, a multi-gifted international motivational speaker, pastor and entrepreneur, has challenged Ghanaian businessmen and women to be purpose driven leaders with a vision to grow and expand their businesses.
He said more often than not most African entrepreneurs fail to make key leadership decisions which eventually undermines the progress and development of their businesses.
According to Dr. Munroe, �Leadership is the capacity to influence others through inspiration generated by a passion motivated by a vision birth from conviction produced by a purpose.�
He said if entrepreneurs are able to make this definition meaningful they could be assured of progress in their businesses.
Dr. Munroe was speaking at the� Achievers Power Dinner� at the Accra International Conference Centre last Friday, where he engaged with business, political, community and religious leaders.
He also addressed the issue of national vision, adding �without vision the country will go in circles.�
The motivational speaker also entreated Africans to be creative and think outside the box if they want to compete with their counterparts in the western world.
He added that ��blacks have been educated in a way that makes them job seekers and not job creators, and the time has come for that mentality to change.�
Dr Munroe, a native of the Bahamas, has spent the last 30 years travelling around the world and training leaders in business, education, government and religion.
He delivers his message on personal and professional development to more than 500,000 people yearly and millions through his media program.
He is also the founder of the Board of Trustees of the International Third World Leaders Association (ITWLA) � an all-professional global network of leaders that focuses on formal leadership development and training primarily in developing nations.
