NDC To Investigate Kofi Adams' Alleged Plot Against Prez Mills

The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has indicated that it will investigate the alleged plot by the partys Deputy General Secretary Kofi Adams, to run down President Mills campaign ahead of the December polls. Mr Kofi Adams is reported to have vowed to scuttle President Mills second term bid when he spoke to the NPPs Gabby Asare Otchere Darko on phone just a day after the partys Sunyani congress which elected President Mills as the flagbearer for the 2012 General Election. Kofi Adams who doubles as spokesperson of the Rawlingses has since denied the allegations. Mr. Okyere-Darko has also described the leaked conversation as an invasion of privacy. But National Propaganda Secretary of the NDC, Richard Quashiga told XYZ News, the party will establish the facts of the case before taking any action. For now it remains an allegation and there is need for it to be proven beyond reasonable doubt that indeed [it] was Kofi Adams voice. He said until the party is furnished with a firm confirmation of who is behind the voice, it will be premature to comment on what my colleague said to Mr Gabby Otchere Darko."
