A 32 year old cleaner at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, who indecently assaulted a six-year-old aneamic patient on admission, was on Friday sentenced to 36 months imprisonment by an Accra Circuit Court. The court heard that Nathaniel Dzane used his manhood to brush the victim�s vagina and inserted his fingers. He was convicted on his own plea. Assistant Superintendent of Police Sarah Acquah told the court, presided over by Ms Sedina Abemava, was admitted at the Children�s Ward on March 6, this year with anaemia. That same day, Dzane went to clean the ward while the girl�s mother was on errand outside the hospital. The little girl requested Dzane to escort her to the washroom. After she had urinated, Dzane unzipped and used his penis to rub her vagina several times and, not satisfied, inserted his fingers into her. On her mother�s return, the girl told her about the incident and she informed the hospital authorities who handed Dzane over to the police.
