No War In Ghana Prophet Amoah

POLITICIANS PLOTTING to plunge the country into civil war during this years general elections will fail, the General Overseer of Gentle Ministry and Prayer Camp has assured Ghanaians. The leader of the burgeoning Pentecostal church at Atwima Kokoben in the Ashanti region, Prophet Emmanuel Amoah popularly known as Agya said Ghana will not experience the ravages of war that other African states have seen in recent years. Liberia, Cote dIvoire, Libya and Tunisia were plunged into civil war during attempts to change their governments with thousands of innocent civilians and security agents killed and millions displaced. This, according to the man of God, should not be tolerated in the country and advocated strong spiritual intervention to prevent bloodshed during the polls. According to the prophet, no amount of scheming by wicked elements in and outside the country will materialize because Ghana is fully under the control of the Almighty God. There will be no war in Ghana before, during and after the December polls as long as genuine prophets of God and the rest of the Church continue to intercede for this country in the spiritual realm, Prophet Amoah said. Agya who is well-known in Kumasi for praying for people to have supernatural visions of heaven and hell warned politicians to shun the hate speech, personality vilification and insults that have permeated the nations political system of late. He told DAILY GUIDE at the church recently that nothing happens in the natural without first happening in the spiritual realm and called on politicians to be mindful of the language they use on political platforms. Asked his opinion about the perceived corruption of the Church in Ghana, Prophet Amoah said any prophet who brags about having personal powers to heal the sick and set the demon-possessed free is a false prophet. He said these are stomach-led and materialistic prophets are out there exploiting people through so-called prayers for healing, deliverance and freedom. Prophet Amoah said a person possessed by an evil spirit cannot be healed and delivered without first being saved through the power of God. People should know the difference between salvation and deliverance. Many prophets will go to hell because they have not been saved themselves, he told the paper. He pointed out that the current prophetic movement where prophets reveal peoples problems without giving them solutions will soon die out as people will eventually be fed up with unfulfilled prophesies. He said he realized his calling about 30 years ago and has since availed himself to be used by God to preach the Gospel, heal the sick and set the oppressed free. Some of his pastors and members who spoke to this reporter explained how God had blessed the prophet with the gift of praying for people to see paradise and hell.
