A 30 year old woman, Esi Adaaziwah believed to be mentally unstable stabbed her husband to death on Wednesday morning. The husband, identified as Kwame Djansah was pronounced dead shortly after reaching the Winneba hospital. Two others who attempted to rescue Kwame Djansah sustained injuries in the process. The Winneba District Police Commander, DSP Martin Asamoah told XYZ News Esi Adaaziwah is currently in police custody. According to DSP Asamoah, the woman had been sent to a priest to be healed of her lunacy. He said after the priest had completed his work, the two parties were discussing the modalities for payment to be made when all hell broke loose. DSP Asamoah stated that Adaaziwah got up when the discussion was still ongoing, picked up a knife nearby and charged on her husband who was resting under a tree on the compound, stabbing him till he became unconscious.
