Some 10 people are reported dead with several others severely injured in a fatal accident few kilometres away from Nkawkaw in the Eastern region.
The accident is reported to have occurred around 1:30 am Wednesday morning.
According to XYZ News� Brong Ahafo regional correspondent Michael Mfum who chanced upon the accident, the driver of the Yutong bus with registration number GZ 5134 Z, lost control of his steering and veered off the road into a nearby bush.
The Yutong bus was traveling from Nkawkaw to the Techiman market.
According to Michael Mfum, an eyewitness who lost a sister in the fatal accident said poor visibility also contributed to the ghastly accident.
The injured persons have been rushed to a nearby hospital and are receiving treatment.
