Ghana Has Become A Lawless Country - Ambolley

Ace Highlife musician, Gyedu Blay Ambolley says recent happenings in the political landscape seem to indicate that Ghana has become a lawless country. Gyedu Blay Ambolley also criticized members of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) on their reaction to the alleged assault of Ablekuma South Parliamentary candidate, Ursula Owusu. The aspiring MP was allegedly molested by some Macho men in Odododiodio when she toured the Constituency last Wednesday. She is reported to have suffered injuries to her face and other parts of her body. Speaking to XYZ News, Mr. Ambolley urged politicians not to take the laws into their own hands but use the security agencies in seeking redress. He also described Kennedy Agyapongs alleged declaration of war as inappropriate. Declaring war because one party member was beaten is inappropriate because, the best way is that those who beat her must be brought to book. That is what the NPP must hammer upon instead of declaring war, intellectually it doesnt speak well, they even have so many lawyers and they must see to that. Mr Ambolley added that it is like Ghana has become a lawless country because people do anything and say anything and they go free. We say that we are a country of laws and lawlessness is going on.
