One of my assignments on earth is to remind people (especially believers) that heaven is in them. It�s quite sad to be a soldier at the war front & not know what sorts of weapons or ammunition you have at your disposal or who your backup is. People who have not discovered themselves are always asking these sorts of questions:
�What is the meaning of life? What purpose does it serve? Why am I here? What am I doing with my life? Where am I going? Will I know if I ever get there?�
The answer they seek is a depiction of a soul in mourning, crying out for reason & purpose to make sense of it existence. They hope for the still small voice of the unknown to speak comfort into their misery, to calm their raging storm. If you�re sick & tired of the rat race & just maybe want to discover why your existence is vital (needed by & critical) to your generation, then listen to a mystery hidden in the prayer Jesus taught his disciples, �Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come.
YOUR WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN� (Matt. 6:9-10). God�s purpose is for planet earth to mirror or look exactly like planet heaven. Yes, I said it; heaven is a planet just as the earth is a planet. Heaven however, is much bigger & loaded with good things that eyes had not seen, sounds & rhythms ears had not heard & jaw dropping, eye popping, in your face elements that the human heart has not & could not conceive. Your assignment or mandate for being on earth as God�s co-worker is to bring a piece of heaven�s glory to earth.
I can tell you some few things you�ll find in heaven because of the Lord�s Prayer. Places & things like theme parks, malls & shopping centers, movie theatres, planes, cars, trains, & all sorts of attraction that will overwhelm you are there. Trust me, heaven is anything but boring. When Moses built the Ark of the Covenant, Scripture confirms that it was only a type & shadow of the reality. That means, what we have on earth here & now, as a result of sin is only types & shadows.
God has invested in you an idea to be deposited in the earth to give this generation a taste of heaven�s reality. So I plead with you to die empty. Pour everything out & titillate the taste buds of my imagination what heaven is like. You look, think, walk & talk different because of the glory you carry in you. Heaven don�t need what you got in you, so before you leave, give earth a chance to taste the heaven hidden in you.
