Bawumia Seeks Blessings In Tamale Central Mosque

The Vice-Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party for the December 2012 Elections, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Friday, hit the capital city of the Northern Region, Tamale, to among others, worship with fellow Muslims at the Tamale Central Mosque. Dr. Bawumia who arrived in Tamale in the early morning held a series of private meetings with top NPP functionaries and supporters in Tamale including Mr. Roland Issifu Alhassan, running mate to Prof. Albert Adu-Boahen for the 1992 Presidential Elections before proceeding to the Tamale Central Mosque for the Jummah Prayers. The NPP Running Mate in addressing the worshippers at the Mosque stated that once in Tamale, he found it obligatory to visit the Mosque to greet the Imams and elders of the Mosque as well as the entire Muslim community that worshipped at the Mosque. He added that he had come to the Mosque to once again thank the Muslim Community in Tamale for the great support they had showed him since his appointment and endorsement as the NPP Running Mate. Dr. Bawumia asked the Mosque to constantly remember him and the Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Akufo-Addo in their prayers. Special prayers were said for Dr. Bawumia and his team. Leading the prayers, the Imam asked for Allah�s Guidance and Blessings for Dr. Bawumia and his team and asked that Allah fulfill their heart�s desire. Dr. Bawumia also met various youth groups in Tamale on Friday and paid a visit to the Tamale Aboabo Market where he once again interacted with various market women and traders on various issues bordering on their livelihoods.
